First steps

Cooking, especially baking pastries is my all-time passion.My affinity for delectable indulgence began at the young age of 8 years old, when my neighbor gave me the Michel Oliver’s cookbook “Pastry is Childs Play”.A cookbook where the ingredients are measured with a cup and the techniques are in the form of short drawings. It was my dream; it was love at first sight.

From the same author I also studied the book ” The Kitchen is a Childs Game “ where I tested the waters with traditional French recipes dishes.

By the age of 18, I set my sights on becoming a Chef specializing in French cuisine, but as fate would have it, life had other plans for me. For the next 28 years I worked in my parent’s puppeteer compagny,first as a sound and light director and eventually as an actress / puppeteer.

We traveled extensively throughout France and Europe, Africa, Madagascar … My travels introduced me to a variety of cuisines and provided many experiences and gustatory memories that I would reproduce back in my kitchen, but cooking then, was only a passion, to be satisfied as an amateur.

After 28 years of a life in the theater, I have returned to my first love and have spent the last year perfecting my cooking techniques to become a private chef, for those visiting from all over the world to preparing meals for many in the comfort of their homes and to cooking classes for all ages; young and old. I am living my dream: i have found my true love !
